Nestled in the pristine lap of luxurious nature is an ‘unschool’ which defies a definition. With a working school in a close by rented destination - (Familymart, Kalliyoor), Yen's World truly took off on 5th Jan 2024.
Learning from life, learning by doing, learning by observing, learning by collaborating, learning by playing, learning from the world around and also from books, is the holistic approach to new age education.
Art, music, craft and history interspersed with science, math and language, bundled inside imaginative role play – immersing oneself in electronics, robotics, coding and new age biology – making this learning an experience without parallel.
Grappling with the real problems of the world, whether in geo – politics, the environment, or the challenges faced by man today, developing a personality uniquely crafted for the complex world we will face tomorrow.
Seriously learning both ‘Western classical ballet and Indian classical Bharatanatyam under the same roof is itself unique and possibly a first for learners anywhere. Exposure to every possible global culture without being chained to religion or idealogy develops the individual into a true global citizen with steadfast Indian roots.
